1. Overview

Coastal Clarity Bookkeeping (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a division of Sherber Operations LLC, an Oregon limited liability company. By accessing or using this website and our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services.


2. Services Provided

We offer remote bookkeeping and related administrative support for small businesses. All services are provided based on the scope agreed upon in a written proposal, service menu, or client engagement agreement.


3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:


  • Providing accurate and complete financial records.
  • Retaining copies of their original financial data and documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable tax, payroll, and reporting laws.


We are not a CPA firm and do not provide tax, legal, or investment advice. Clients remain responsible for all tax filings and submissions to government agencies.


4. Payments and Billing

  • All invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified in writing.
  • Late payments may result in suspended services or late fees.
  • Retainers or prepaid service packages are nonrefundable once services begin.


5. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information. Data is stored securely and shared only with authorized personnel or as required by law.


6. Limitation of Liability

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our work but cannot guarantee the completeness or suitability of information provided by the client. Sherber Operations LLC and its divisions are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.


7. Cancellations and Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Work performed up to the date of termination will be billed and due immediately.


8. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Sherber Operations LLC. Clients retain ownership of their own financial data and documents.


9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Oregon.
